Sonam Kapoor was celebrating the birthday of designer Abu Jani in this draped skirt set with a pearl-lined hem and one-shoulder top that drew inferences from the Zeenat Aman's outfit from the 1978 movie Satyam Shivam Sundaram and costumes from the '90s mythological shows that were a mainstay on television. Regardless, this was a bold look and something we had not seen before even from Sonam herself.
The Transparent Kaftan
Sonam took the humble kaftan and made it bump-forward with this transparent version from the Moroccan brand, FIL DE VIE by wearing it with nothing more than a black textured balconette bra underneath leaving women everywhere, pregnant or otherwise, inspired.
