Repeating myself, we don’t need sleeves anymore. The oncoming season makes us want to scrap everything cumbersome, including long and voluminous sleeves. We all need minimal layers and easy-to-wear clothes – at the beach under the scorching sun, at a wedding so we can dance effortlessly or even at a party that’s crowded with goers. And with the need that recently cropped up, we present a lookbook for the summer focussing on strapless clothes and how celebs are wearing them.

  1. Strapless details as a part of Indian attires

Summer as a vibrant wedding season welcomes bright warm tones, flared skirts and new-age blouses. Taking over the current trend, celebrities are keeping their hands-free and choosing strapless blouses. Embellished, draped or embroidered, we spotted celebrities wearing a variety. Take a look!

  1. Strapless details in the perfect party dresses

While thinking about party clothes, we observed the ubiquitous range of dresses with dramatic sleeves or elaborate necklines. Stating facts, it’s warm already to wear those and it’s going to be warmer soon. How does one keep up with fashion trends while matching the weather? One answer is to part ways with sleeves and the second could be wearing summer-suitable dresses.

Though dresses are a wardrobe essential for nine out of ten women, the struggle lies in the fact that it’s tough to find ones in which you can stand out at any party. Long or short, solid or textured, and whatever fabric you choose, you know you’re doing it right if you’re confident in a strapless one.

  1. Strapless details in the trending corset tops

In the last few months, we’ve seen corset tops like never before. Doubling up as strapless tops, celebrities and their stylists seem to be drooling over this trend. Almost every celebrity has posed in one, with these being the most eye-catching.

  1. Strapless details in bright beachwear

Before it gets difficult to find beach outfits that can hide the straps of your regular swimsuit, switch to a strapless monokini or bikini. It’s to be found in racks of every resort wear store this season as the most-talked about women are already flaunting them.

A pro tip that can let you sway by the season in strapless clothes is to be confident in what you choose. If you’re still conscious (in 2022?), grab an over-shirt or shrug that’s made of lightweight or sheer fabric.
