With a presumably last ceremony in Portofino, Italy, a trio of Kravis weddings has come full circle. On Sunday, Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker both posted a picture of themselves kissing at the altar to Instagram with the statement “happily ever after”.
A backdrop with dozens of candles and a Madonna-and-child artwork was seen in the photograph. A cheerful officiant stands nearby. “Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Barker,” Kardashian captioned another shot of the couple beaming and addressing the guests seconds later.
Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker may be seen taking vows in one of the photos. In another photo, the couple kissed ardently. Travis’ son Landon, daughter Alabama, and stepdaughter Atiana are said to have attended their wedding, as were Kourtney’s boys Mason and Reign, as well as her daughter Penelope.
She donned a floor-length veil with a huge Virgin Mary motif on the side and a white corseted mini-dress. He was dressed in a black suit. According to an international magazine, both outfits were created by Dolce & Gabbana. The wedding took place in Castello Brown, a medieval castle overlooking the Gulf of Portofino. Kris Jenner walked Kourtney Kardashian down the aisle.
The ceremony happened after an Elvis impersonator-officiated practice wedding with no marriage license in Santa Barbara, California, followed by a private ceremony with a marriage license.
The wedding guests landed at Portofino, a coastal community on the Italian Riviera coast recognised for its colourful buildings and sparkling green water, on Friday. Kourtney donned a veil and a short black dress with an image of the Virgin Mary as a precursor to her wedding attire.
According to sources, a larger event would be held later in Los Angeles.
The reality celebrity, 43, and the Blink-182 drummer, 46, are famous for their PDA, and this time was no exception. They were spotted kissing on a boat in the sun on Friday, she in a T-shirt from Travis' band and he in his preferred fashion, shirtless with his tattoos on show.
Early last year, Barker and the oldest Kardashian sister made their relationship Instagram official. In October, he proposed on the beach in Montecito, California, with a circle of red flowers and white candles. The pair also made their Met Gala debut earlier this year.
Kourtney previously had three children with Scott Disick, with whom she had a long relationship. Barker has had two marriages. Melissa Kennedy, his first wife, was only married for nine months. His most recent divorce was with Shanna Moakler in 2008. They married in 2004 and have two teenage children.
