Who doesn’t love a dramatic love story? But even those who considered themselves die-hard romantics, perhaps, skipped a heartbeat and then some when they learned of Jennifer Lopez’s surprise marriage to Ben Affleck, twenty years after they got engaged for the first time. And while destiny brought them together, each had a lot to do with the wedding outfits they wore to celebrate their togetherness. The Bennifer wedding has set a new precedent for wedding outfits all over: you can now refurbish an old dress and turn up to get married. Here’s everything we loved about Jennifer’s not one but two wedding outfits!
Look 1:
The first outfit, a sleeveless white number with a high neck, was chosen by the actor for her pre-wedding look merely hours before the ceremony. Jennifer disclosed in her newsletter OnTheJLo that the white number is from one of her old movies that stayed with her. She, in fact, even went on to tell how she’s had the dress for a while but she never found the right occasion to wear it until now.

For the main wedding itself, Jennifer chose a Zuhair Murad lace dress from the designer’s SS’23 bridal collection. It features an off-shoulder neck with boned corset and full sleeves made with the diaphanous lace and matching train. It was, however, the tulle veil that stole the show. Funnily, in JLo’s latest movie starring Owen Wilson and Maluma, her character wore a Zuhair Murad dress for her wedding, too.

The moment you take a look at JLo's bridal avatar shared by her hairstylist Chris Appleton on Instagram, you know that she opted for the classics. From large pieces of soft curls to a safe yet timeless brown smokey eye makeup, Jennifer Lopez's look was all things pin-worthy and mesmerising. The rumour has it that JLo decked herself up for the big day using a line-up of stellar products from her eponymous beauty brand. A bronzed complexion, brown smokey eyes and a creamy nude lip were the highlights of her look; the luxe-looking locks did complete justice (and more) to her ethereal makeup. The best part? Her look is supremely achievable.
