Hailey Bieber’s Recent Look Makes The Case For Summer Party Makeup

When you think of names that are creating and dominating fashion trends, Hailey Bieber’s is one of the first ones that will come to mind. The supermodel has perpetually evolved her sense of fashion and beauty, thereby levelling up her glam quotient. Recently, she served yet another stunning look at a pre-Oscars event, and it’s fair to say that she exuded charm that almost blinded us! Our love for this look comes from a place of relatability, wearability and convenience to recreate this look – that, btw, is so very appropriate for the summer, with hints of shimmer, rouge and coral pink lips. So that all of you could recreate this look easily, we took the onus of decoding it for you.

Considering you’ll wear this look in the coming days a.k.a sweltering summers, it’s important to prep your skin in a way that supports the summer proof nature of your makeup. Tone cleansed skin to keep pore health in check and excess sebum at bay. Apply a matte moisturiser and follow up with a gel-based matte sunscreen. Add a nice coat of lip balm at this point.
Start your base makeup by applying a mattifying primer and let it sink in well. Dot some liquid foundation (matte, lightweight and non-comedogenic) and as a first step using blending-and-patting motions to buff it out. Next, use a sponge and blend it out seamlessly. You could employ this hack to encourage longevity of the base. Next, swipe a brightening concealer under your eyes, forehead, nose and around the mouth to cancel out pigmentation and highlight these points. Conceal any blemishes, if you want.

After wrapping the cream-based bit, move onto powders. But, before that, spritz some setting spray once to lock in the cream. Powder it with a loose dusting powder and bake your under eyes, if you wish. Glide a dusty coral blush all over the apples and cheeks with a finely-milled highlighter above and a bronzer below it.

For the eyes, sign up for a shimmery treat as you prep the lids with a nude matte transition powder. Sweep some gold shimmer eyeshadow all over the lids and glide the same shadow right below your lower lash line too. Pick up a creamy brown eye pencil (preferably with shimmer) and outline your upper lash line. Finish the eye look with sweeps of mascara and brush some tinted brow gel.

Outline (overline) the lips with a rich coral lip liner and fill the lips with a nude pink creamy lipstick. You can spritz some dewy setting spray all over the face as a finishing touch.
