The first-ever Mrs. Femina online hunt, presented by Bosch Home Appliances, is a virtual property woman across the country who participated in various challenges that highlighted their personalities. Mrs. Femina is not just any beauty pageant, but rather the recognition of personal journeys of growth and transformation.
There were many registrations from across the country. Out of them, 20 were shortlisted to fight it out virtually over the course of three rounds. Over a period of six weeks, we worked with our contestants to help them showcase themselves in challenges related to fashion, beauty, food and personality.
We were privileged to have judges and mentors like Gul Panag, Shiamak Davar, Amyra Dastur, Celebrity Chef Varun Inamdar, entrepreneur and co-founder of the Naturals group of salons Veena Kumaravel, Ronitaa Italia, Editor-In-Chief of GoodHomes & Home & Design Trends, Neeraj Bahl, Managing Director and CEO of Bosch Home Appliances and Managing Editor of Femina, Primrose Monteiro-DSouza.
The Grand Finale began with us finally revealing the winners for our fashion, beauty, food and personality round. But let's break that down a little.
For the fashion round, our contestants created videos of what they could do with an Indian fashion staple - the sari. And the winner for this round was Ishani Jaswal.
Prerna Nigam won the beauty challenge which was titled My Beauty: Three Ways. In this round, contestants had to use their face as a canvas to create three distinct looks - bridal, date night, and color pop!
Surbhi Manocha Chowdhary won the food challenge which was called Your Culture On A Plate, in which our contestants showed us a beloved dish adapted to the challenge.
Ipsita Priyadarsini won the showcased challenge - the chance for the ladies to showcase their well-rounded personality, their achievements, the things they hold pride in.
On the other hand, Anneshya Thakkar won the Srimathi Silkmark Contest.
And lastly, Tapeshwari Sharma won the title of our first-ever virtual hunt for Mrs. Femina, while Prachi Kane and Prerna Nigam were the first and the second runners-up respectively.
