Travelling is one of the best experiences of life. It’s always great to explore a new place, interact with people who live there, indulge in the local food and try out all the fun things in the vicinity. But in doing this, we sometimes surpass our spending limit. Sticking to a budget while being on the go can be difficult, but it’s not impossible. These tips can help:
Travel Off-Season

When you travel off-season, everything is less expensive - transport, accommodation, food, drinks and entertainment. Moreover, it’s an amazing hack to avoid large crowds, long queues and sold-out shows that are common during peak season.
Book In Advance

The prices for transport and accommodation are highly sensitive to demand and supply. The more people want to book and the more urgently, their value shoots up. That’s why it’s wise to plan things way ahead of time and make your bookings early.
Walk Around

The best way to explore a new place is to walk around. Not only does it give you an authentic local experience, but also helps you save money otherwise spent on fares for travelling short distances.
Take Public Transport

If you have to travel long distances, always take public transport. This is another way to get a local experience of the place you’re visiting and ensure your trip doesn’t burn a hole in your pocket.
Eat Out Less

It’s okay to indulge in yummy street food and fancy dinners when you’re visiting a new place, but eating out for every meal is a bit much. Not only is it unhealthy, but also unnecessarily expensive. If it’s feasible for you to cook sometimes, do it!
