Hannah Gadsby: Nanette
Saving the best for last, Hannah Gadsby’s Nanette is a stand-up comedy that will make you laugh as much as it will make you think. It tells the story of Gadsby’s battle with sexism, homophobia, and assaults. Ironically, Nanette turns into a commentary on comedy. There are moments in the special where you will be completely be enamoured by her ideas and words, but that’s exactly when Hannah will break the tension by delivering a punchline out of nowhere.
